Susan’s mom passed away on Saturday morning. We were so very thankful to have arrived in South Carolina last Tuesday, enabling us to spend her final days together.
Even in the face of death, we have a hope for the future based on the unshakable promise of God: “For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.” 1 Corinthians 15:52
See you later, Mom.
Words are inadequate but since I cannot come to you and sit in silence for 3 days as Job’s friends did (before they opened their mouths and spoiled it) I must write something. Please accept my condolences for your loss. What a blessing to have made it there “in time” and together. May God comfort you with our prayers.
We are so sorry for your loss of your very special mom. Mom’s are unique, aren’t they……
May you feel His presence even more in this time of mourning and His peace when the tears fall. You were both great “kids” for her……love, K.
I wish I could have met your mom. She was beautiful! I’m so thankful both of you made it back to sit with her in her final days. We can be comforted by God’s promises…there are so many!
Sending hugs!!
I know we never really lose our Mothers, even when their time on earth is over. Our Mothers are still in our thoughs, our hopes and our dreams every day. Their lives carry on into our children and never leave our memory. Their love sees us through many difficult days and carries us on to be better mothers ourselves. May God be with you and your family. Blessings to all. Love Gayle & Billy
