While hiking in the nearby mountains, we stopped to smell (and photograph) the wild flowers:
It is amazing to see the beautiful array of small flowers growing on the mountainside, reminding me of the verse from Matthew 6: “Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.”
Although the notion of stopping to smell the flowers has a pleasant, romantic air about it, literal translations don’t always come out just right. With that in mind, it seems appropriate to end this blog with an advertisement at the entrance to our apartment complex:
What a fancy camera… almost like a real photographer…!
The camera was our Christmas present to each other this year. Unfortunately, my lack of training makes me feel kind of like a monkey trying to use an iPhone.
Haha….good description. Thanks for the photos and enjoy learning more about your camera. I’m sure you’ll enjoy making pics to frame/or tack-up for your apt as well—-bringing His work indoors to see.
Those are beautiful, “timothy” like pictures!
